Entry Writer Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $30.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm )

• Prepare and file import customs entries using the ACE system.
• Review import documents and verify HTS classifications, country of origin, values, and duty rates.
• Monitor entries for CBP holds, exams, and additional documentation requirements.
• Communicate with customs brokers, CBP, carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure entries meet compliance requirements and deadlines.

Entry Writer Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Customs Entry Writer, Import Specialist, or Customs Broker.
• Experience using ACE/ABI and knowledge of HTS classifications, customs valuation, country of origin, and duty calculations.
• Familiarity with Section 301, AD/CVD, PGA, FDA, and other import compliance requirements is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
