Senior Oracle PL/SQL Data Modeler

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

Position Type :Contract

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data models and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working with Oracle databases, strong PL/SQL development skills, and extensive experience with ERwin or similar data modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain logical and physical data models for Oracle database environments.
• Develop models based on analysis of business requirements working in conjunction with business analysts.
• Develop and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL queries.
• Use ERwin Data Modeler to create and maintain enterprise data models and database documentation.
• Work with application developers, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable database designs.
• Analyze existing database structures and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Perform data analysis, database design, normalization, and schema optimization.
• Support database development, testing, troubleshooting, and production implementation activities.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Oracle database development and data modeling experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler.
• Extensive experience designing logical and physical data models.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, indexing, constraints, and database performance.
• Experience working with large, complex enterprise databases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience with TOAD for Oracle is a plus.
